Job Opportunity: Roadworthy and Reconditioning Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Roadworthy and Reconditioning Technician in Melbourne. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of vehicle preparation and ensuring that all vehicles meet the required roadworthiness regulations.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified automotive mechanic to take ownership of the maintenance of our Pre-Owned Vehicle Fleet, conducting Road Worthy Checks and ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Road Worthy Checks on pre-owned vehicles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track vehicle maintenance history
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless vehicle preparation and delivery to customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain high standards of workmanship

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Current Victorian Roadworthy Testers License
  • Proven background in conducting Road Worthy Checks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and adaptability to meet business demands
