Job Title: Waste Management Drivers Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an experienced Waste Driver. We are seeking reliable and punctual individuals with a strong understanding of WHS to fill 5 positions in Artarmon.

  • Full-time positions available for up to 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday, starting at 4am/5am

As a successful candidate, you will have/be:

  • A current valid HR licence
  • RMS print out
  • Previous experience within the waste industry
  • Ability to operate either SIDE ARM or REAR LOAD vehicles, or both
  • Willingness to undertake drug and alcohol screens
  • Two contactable references from within the industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fit, strong, healthy, and enthusiastic individual

The role involves commercial and domestic pick-ups, working with a national waste services company. This is a genuine ongoing temp to perm role, offering a long-term career opportunity for experienced waste drivers looking for steady employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Collect and transport waste to designated facilities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Current valid HR licence
  • Previous experience within the waste industry
  • Ability to operate SIDE ARM or REAR LOAD vehicles, or both
  • Strong understanding of WHS
  • Fitness to perform physically demanding tasks
