About the Role

Gough Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Building Manager to join our client's team in the South East QLD Region. As a key member of the property operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of one of our client's sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Bodies Corporate committee to address any requests or concerns
  • Communicate effectively with landlords and tenants to resolve any issues
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs
  • Monitor the performance of contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Coordinate cleaning, landscaping, and pool services as required
  • Issue breach notices and other notices as necessary
  • Collaborate with the cleaner to maintain a superior level of building upkeep
  • Manage move-in and move-out processes
  • Respond to daily queries from owners and tenants
  • Process mail disbursement
  • Ensure rubbish and recycle bins are placed out for collection
  • Monitor the visitors carpark
  • Email defects to relevant areas and arrange access with owners or outside agents
  • Assist the property management team with re-lets, new management sign-ons, and routine tasks (commissions earned for each of these duties)
Requirements
  • Experience in building management or property management is required
  • QLD Certificate of Registration is not necessary
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to develop and grow your skillset
  • Capacity to earn an impressive amount of commissions for all leases and property management duties conducted
