Reinforcing Steel Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Reinforcing Steel Specialist to join our construction crew for an ongoing project in the Tauranga Region.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has experience with steel fixing. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting plans, locating reinforcing in laydown areas, and fixing reinforcing and mesh as per drawings.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a steel fixer or a similar role in the construction industry
  • Complete knowledge of industry standards, health and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with hand power tools such as grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good time management and organisational skills
