NETSCOUT Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer to join our team in Canberra, Australia.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to work with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex product issues. As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, development, and quality assurance, to resolve product issues.
  • Researching and developing technical tips and solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Driving the NETSCOUT solution to solve customer challenges and improve network performance.
  • Supporting NETSCOUT's engagement with customers' executives and providing technical guidance.
  • Working closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Providing expert advice on network management best practices to customers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in TCP/IP and Networking technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix platform management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Network Security or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in critical and managed customer care.
  • Expertise in customer relationship management.
  • Network Management experience in Federal Government/DOD environment preferred.
  • Experience working remotely with remote support.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex network problems.
  • Cisco Certification (CCNP minimum, CCIE preferred).
  • Linux Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system environments preferred.
  • Ability to write technical articles and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work onsite at customer premises.
  • VMWare Certification/knowledge a plus.

Physical Demands:

This position requires talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are needed.
