About the Role

As a Senior Resource Geologist, you will be responsible for resource estimation and technical reporting of gold resources across our Mungari Operations. You will work closely with the Superintendent Resource Geologist and other teams to ensure the integrity of the geological database and master geological files on the network server.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Constructing 3D geological models of lithology, structure, and mineralisation
  • Using appropriate resource estimation techniques, such as ordinary kriging, to build high-quality, accurate block models
  • Reconciling updated resource block models against previous block models, grade control models, and historical production
  • Ensuring the integrity of the geological database and master geological files on the network server
  • Identifying exploration targets and contributing to developing drilling budgets that will upgrade the mineral resource
  • Preparing mineral resource technical reports and presentations for resource model estimations to communicate risks and opportunities to management, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Liaising with Mining Engineers to develop optimum mining limits, mine designs, dilution, ore recoveries, and schedules
  • Developing standards, processes, and other tools compliant with 2012 JORC Code guidelines
About You

We are looking for a tertiary qualified and motivated Geologist to join our operation. You will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a geologist in mining. Underground, narrow vein gold experience is highly desirable.

You will be highly computer literate with expertise in geological modelling software and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have highly developed problem identification and solution conceptualisation skills.
