About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Resource Geologist to join our Mungari Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for resource estimation and technical reporting of gold resources. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Constructing 3D geological models of lithology, structure, and mineralisation
  • Using appropriate resource estimation techniques to build high-quality, accurate block models
  • Reconciling updated resource block models against previous block models, grade control models, and historical production
  • Ensuring the integrity of the geological database and master geological files on the network server
  • Identifying exploration targets and contributing to developing drilling budgets to upgrade the mineral resource
  • Preparing mineral resource technical reports and presentations to communicate risks and opportunities to management, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Liaising with Mining Engineers to develop optimum mining limits, mine designs, dilution, ore recoveries, and schedules
  • Developing standards, processes, and tools compliant with 2012 JORC Code guidelines
  • Ensuring systems, standards, and procedures for estimations are applied and drive resource estimation accuracy and quality
About You

We're looking for a tertiary-qualified and motivated Geologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mining. You'll have a strong background in geology, with experience in resource estimation, and a good understanding of geostatistics and block model validation. You'll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be highly developed in problem identification and solution conceptualisation.
