Senior Underground Mining Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mining Superintendent to lead our team in the efficient and safe execution of underground mining operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in underground planning, technical proficiency in mining various types of orebodies, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for fostering a proactive safety culture, providing appropriate tools and resources, and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a proactive safety-first culture aligned with our Safety Management System.
- Providing appropriate tools, resources, and supervision for safe task execution.
- Conducting regular inspections, audits, and field leadership engagements.
- Ensuring all team members are properly trained and supported.
A successful candidate will have a WA First Class Manager's Certificate, strong underground planning experience, and technical proficiency in scheduling and drill and blast. They will also be highly proficient in Deswik software.
