Physical Testing Laboratory Technician

About the Role:
  • The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • They will handle coal samples and process them according to instructions and current best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading coal samples from various plant streams.
  • A range of physical tests including sample preparation, sizing, crushing, dividing, and sample storage.
  • Transferring validated results into the reporting system.
  • Calibration and maintenance of specialized equipment.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to organize work, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
