Healthcare Professional

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to older Western Australians.

As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring high standards of care.

You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residents and mentor and support care staff to enhance their performance.

The role requires strong planning, coordination, and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to guide staff in wound management, diabetes care, and medication systems.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans for residents
  • Address concerns and requests from families and carers in collaboration with the Residential Manager
  • Stay current with aged care documentation requirements
  • Work with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residents
  • Mentor and support care and service staff, enhancing their performance
  • Identify and address training needs for clinical and care staff
  • Ensure compliance with aged care standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience in delivering clinical care within aged care or healthcare settings
  • Strong planning, coordination, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to guide staff in wound management, diabetes care, and medication systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
