About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our fast-paced Product Team at ClickView. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipeline on top of AWS services and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Develop and manage the data architecture to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Implement best practices for data management, including data governance and data lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand data requirements and provide scalable solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Work closely with the team to support data visualization and reporting solutions using Looker.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and workflows.
Requirements
  • Solid experience working in data engineering or software engineering.
  • Experience with cloud Data Warehousing (Snowflake) and Data Lake experience.
  • A strong understanding of ELT/ETL processes and data architecture.
  • Nice to have, experience with data structures and query languages in relational DBs such as MySQL and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with DBT and familiar with the best practice of data transformation and adherence best practices.
  • Familiar with AWS native services (S3, DMS, Lambda, Glue, etc).
  • A passion for data engineering and analytics.
  • Understanding of statistical models.
  • Ability to visualize data with the knowledge of BI tools (we use Looker).
  • Ability to maintain data infrastructure, and data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
  • Ability to communicate ideas, processes, and practices clearly.
