Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Bushland Maintenance Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working outdoors and making a positive impact on the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with bushland maintenance, including regeneration, bushcare, and bushfire mitigation activities.

They will also assist with the maintenance of walking trails, fencing, gates, barriers, and signage.

In addition, the role involves carrying out work within the Community Nursery, including the maintenance and repair of facilities, propagation of selected plants, and general nursery maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

They will also possess a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in horticulture or a related field would be highly regarded.
  • NSW Class C Licence is essential for this role.
  • Working with Children check – or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card – General Construction Induction Licence – or willingness to obtain.
