About the role

In this newly created Construction Manager position, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. You will be responsible for directing and leading construction activities related to distribution powerline projects, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery resources effectively
  • Ensure appropriate tooling, plant and material levels are maintained
  • Provide technical guidance, advice and mentoring to field workers
  • Achieve project margins
  • Manage operation activities including scheduling and training
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors

About You

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, leadership, integrity and innovation. Your qualifications and experience should include:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the ESI in a management role such as Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor or Leading Hand

Experience leading a team of Lineworkers, particularly in Live Line Glove & Barrier works

Possess relevant trade qualifications either an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Linesman/Jointer

Driver's Licence

Construction White Card

Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards relevant to Western Australia

Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
