Digital Capability Analyst

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to fill the position of Capability Analyst in our Digital Capability Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in strengthening Australia's national security through digital capability decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Analysis and Problem-Solving: Identify and employ best practice analysis methods, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support the lifecycle management of digital products and platforms.
- Strategic Understanding: Apply understanding of broader Defence policy and strategic objectives, including the National Defence Strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, analyse, isolate, and interpret business and stakeholder needs to generate user stories and requirements.
- Reporting and Advice: Undertake detailed analysis, including gathering information from a range of sources to produce consolidated reports and evidence-based advice to understand and address issues or trends at a program and/or project level.
- Recommendations and Solutions: Develop evidence-based recommendations to solve problems or identify opportunities within the program and/or projects.
- Secretariat Support: Provide high-level secretariat support to all Digital Capability committees, including analysing senior committee schedules, managing scheduling and synchronisation, coordinating governance arrangements, and coordinating meeting arrangements.
Digital Capability Division uses the One Defence Capability System to develop, adapt, and extend digital capabilities. We provide end-to-end work take-on and execution of the Chief Information Officer's Capability Manager responsibilities across the lifecycle, and provide an integrated single point of contact with the business for digital demand.
