Job Overview


We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Laundry Operations Manager to join our team in Strathfield South. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing commercial laundry team and contributing to our ambitious growth plans.


Key Responsibilities



  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of production workers to ensure efficient and effective operations, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
  • People Management: Manage the recruitment, induction, training, and performance feedback of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with supervisors to optimize production processes, implement improvements, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of results.

Requirements



  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in people management, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, quality, and team performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with 5S, LEAN, or HACCP principles is highly desirable.
