**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Educator to join our team at St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care in Bardon, a shared facility on the grounds of St Joseph's Primary School.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating fun recreational and educational experiences that support the well-being of children. You will provide a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment, working collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work with children to develop their social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth.
  • Provide high-quality care and education that meets the needs of each child.
  • Participate in professional and personal development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Promote the service within the local community, in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates.
  • Knowledge of the MTOP and NQS.
  • A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
  • Confidence in building strong relationships with children and families.
  • A supportive and enthusiastic disposition.
  • Experience in observing and documenting learning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
