We are seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to oversee catering operations and assist in planning and preparing high-quality meals for residents in one of our Residential Aged Care homes.

About the Role

This is a full-time, ongoing position requiring flexibility with start times and days, including weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food handling, preparation, and cooking of meals as well as presenting food, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary operations management.
  • Preparation and presentation of high-quality meals.
  • Record keeping and stock control.
  • Maintenance of a safe, hygienic, and tidy kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Compassion, sensitivity, and maturity to provide high-quality meals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen within a healthcare environment (desired).
