Healthcare Assistant Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our pharmacy team as a part-time or casual Healthcare Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and busy team environment, providing excellent customer service, advice, and education on health products.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Processing items through the register, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.

  • Stock fill and rotation, maintaining an organized and well-stocked store.

  • Taking in and giving out prescriptions, adhering to strict confidentiality and accuracy protocols.

  • Labelling Schedule 3 medication and dispensing scripts, following established procedures and guidelines.

  • Dose administration aid preparation, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.

  • Assisting the pharmacist to provide service and product information, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

  • Organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the pharmacy, contributing to a positive and healthy work environment.
