Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Our client is a global brand in the lift and elevator industry with a focus on customer service. Due to continued growth in the region we are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join their team in a full time permanent position.

This autonomous role is suited to a motivated self-starter who enjoys managing their own time and running their own jobs. If you're an Electrician with experience in a maintenance oriented position, then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspections of electrical systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in elevator control systems, wiring, and components.
  • Rostered on call duties responsible for your region - Newcastle, Upper Hunter, Lower Mid-North Coast
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams
  • Installing new electrical systems
  • Maintaining records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
  • Adhering rigorously to safety protocols and industry codes to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid Electrical licence
  • Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, with a background in elevator systems being a bonus.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
  • Genuine commitment to safety.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work on-call and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
