Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of defence simulation capability delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead system integration and test activities across assigned projects, working with systems, design, test, and production teams.
  • Develop and execute inspection and test procedures and reports as part of the verification and validation framework.
  • Deliver and manage software integration rigs and prototype development rigs throughout the design phase.
  • Support unit-level, integration, and system-level testing, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Assist sustainment teams with diagnostics and testing for system-level issues beyond technician capability.
  • Manage integration-based documentation, including integration plans and interface control drawings.
  • Liaise with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure timely, quality delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical, electronics, or systems preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading integration and testing work packages in defence.
  • Solid grounding in systems engineering to support integration and test work.
  • Proven ability to deliver on contract, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Excellent communication, proactive approach, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Must hold Australian citizenship and be eligible for an AGSVA NV1 clearance.
