We're a global team of passionate payment and tech industry professionals who are building innovative new products to disrupt the status quo. We're looking for a talented Sales Account Executive to join our Sales team and help us achieve our ambitious goals.
About the Role
As a Sales Account Executive at Zeller, you'll be responsible for building relationships with small, medium, and large-sized businesses to understand their pain points and requirements. You'll then formulate the right Zeller solution to exceed their expectations and deliver an outstanding first impression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting to businesses through outbound lead generation, door-to-door prospecting, cold calling, and referrals.
- Building a deep understanding of business owners' pain points and requirements.
- Meticulously managing leads and deals pipeline within a CRM tool.
- Own the full sales cycle, including planning, qualifying, obtaining information, due diligence, and closing new deals.
- Translating complex business banking and merchant services requirements into a succinct, simple, and beautiful solution.
- Delivering an outstanding first impression for Zeller's merchants through storytelling, case studies, pitch decks, and industry news.
- Developing commercially sound deals across various customer use cases, verticals, and complex economics.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
We're looking for a Sales Account Executive with:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a sales position with proven ability to achieve quarterly goals.
- A genuine curiosity and passion about people and their businesses.
- A strong commercial mindset and demonstrated ability to successfully manage and grow revenue.
- Tertiary education or relevant experience.
- Proficient experience in prospecting, identifying target businesses, evaluating buyer interest, recognising decision-making processes, qualifying, creating value-based demonstrations, selling complex solutions, writing proposals, objection handling, and negotiating.
- Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and a rare competitive fire and desire to win.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a highly collaborative work style, and excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
- Agile, ambitious, and motivated to be the best at everything you do.
- Resilience in the face of adversity and an underlying comfort in ambiguity.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a large volume of tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines.
- A healthy entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience with CRM tools, Google Suite, and Microsoft Suite.
Bonus Points
Experience in SaaS, fintech, or scale-up B2B sales, and established relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
