Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide person-centered care and support to our residents. With a focus on creating a home away from home, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care and promoting the well-being of our residents.
As a Part-time Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for advising and supporting the care delivery team, educating and mentoring staff in clinical areas and processes, and providing consultative input in case management and clinical decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will have current AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years experience in an Aged Care setting, be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends, value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative, have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs, and possess strong admin and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
- Educating and mentoring staff in clinical areas and processes
- Consultative input in case management and clinical decision-making
- Implementing and supporting resident comfort-focused care
- Working collaboratively with the care delivery team to achieve exceptional outcomes
