Job Title: Senior Core Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Core Network Engineer to join our team at Vocus Group. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our LTE transmission network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement LTE transmission network architecture
  • Configure and support switches and routers, including Cisco C9Ks, Cisco IR1Ks, Nokia SAR, and similar
  • Implement MW solutions, including PtP and PtMP from Cambium, Aviat, Nokia, Radwin, Ceragon, and similar
  • Prepare design documents, including network diagrams, configuration, and support for both customer-facing and internal teams
  • Analyze transmission performance, resolve network problems, and optimize network architecture
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
  • Configure SD-WAN solutions and/or IPSec for cloud-based and on-premise environments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree qualification in Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design and implementation of IP Networks, including IP/MPLS and VRF Lite, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Knowledge of LTE/5G networks architecture
  • Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills
