We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Network Specialist to join our team at Vocus Group. As a key member of our network design and implementation team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our LTE transmission network.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement LTE transmission networks, including network diagrams, configuration, and support.
- Configure and manage switches and routers, such as Cisco C9Ks, Cisco IR1Ks, Nokia SAR, and similar.
- Implement and manage MW solutions, including PtP and PtMP from Cambium, Aviat, Nokia, Radwin, Ceragon, and similar.
- Analyze transmission performance, resolve network problems, and optimize network architecture.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Configure SD-WAN solutions and/or IPSec for cloud-based and on-premise environments.
- Bachelor's Degree qualification in Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design and implementation of IP Networks, including IP/MPLS and VRF Lite, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience with VLAN and RSTP, and a thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking.
- Practical experience implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
- Knowledge of LTE/5G networks architecture.
- Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
