Finance Business Partner, Transport Specialist

The Finance Business Partner for our Finance Transport team is a highly visible role, playing a key part in influencing, coaching and engaging across the Transport and wider finance teams to support decision making, business initiatives and financial management.
You will be responsible for:
- Engaging with key stakeholders to understand business needs and proactively drive improved business insight and decision making through robust financial analysis and reporting for Coles Transport
- Negotiating and influencing outcomes by challenging appropriately using data to deliver the right outcome for the business
- Ensuring risks (financial and non-financial) are clearly articulated and addressed in decision making
- Completing and reviewing business plans, forecasts and reports for Coles Transport
- Providing finance and administration support for creation, management and procurement of contracts within Coles transport
- Preparing business cases and benefit reviews for new business initiatives to support continuous improvement
- Partnering with stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to drive positive change and enhance information provided to senior stakeholders to support the transport agenda
We are after a passionate and energetic Finance Business Partner with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. An ability to manage competing workloads and deliver the best outcomes for stakeholders is key to success in this role.
You will need:
- A strong commercial and analytical background, with a qualification such as CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management, change management, problem solving and influencing skills
- Strong commercial and analytical skills to support understanding of key performance drivers, and raise recommendations on actions required to improve performance
- Experience of working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders and ability to distil and effectively communicate complex information/problems to a broad range of audiences
- Experience of financial KPIs across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
