Develop a compelling Public Relations strategy that supports the growth and execution of long-form programs, brand tactics, and activations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure impactful earned and owned media exposure; measure impact and communicate results.
  • Activation support – attend events, organize food and/or merchandise, finalise creative deliverables, oversee third-party activation staff. Travel interstate and to New Zealand as required.
  • Research, write, and/or edit communications materials, including press releases, pitches, fact sheets, Q&As, briefing materials, talking points, key messages, emails, social media posts, and presentations.
  • Work with senior leaders to serve as the releasing authority for information to the public and/or news media.
  • Act as Media Spokesperson for the organisation as and when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, CSR, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in public relations in a corporate or agency environment; proven track record in securing and managing high-quality media coverage.
  • Exceptional writing skills (technical, creative, effective).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and crises under pressure and provide sound counsel to management.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and hardworking, with strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of the AU/NZ media landscape.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Team player with the ability to work with a diverse team operating in multiple countries.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience with global organisations is highly desirable.
