We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Lead to join our team at North Richmond Community Health. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce and the communities we serve.
- 22.8 hours per week, part-time position

The Health and Safety Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety management framework. This will involve working closely with managers and staff to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
You will provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters, and foster a culture of collaboration and improvement within the organisation. Your specialist expertise will support the organisation to improve health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes for its people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a tailored health and safety management framework
- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters
- Foster a culture of collaboration and improvement
- Lead projects to understand and address OVA and preventive measures
- Coordinate and support the Work Health and Safety, OVA, and staff wellbeing committees
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures
- Investigate incidents and recommend remedial action
- Review and revise policies and procedures to meet health and safety obligations
- Coach others to improve their health and safety awareness
