About Cardiology Registrar Role

This is an exciting opportunity for doctors to gain valuable experience in cardiology while enjoying a relaxed coastal lifestyle. The role involves working within a well-established cardiology department at a major regional hospital in Queensland.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy and supportive team providing comprehensive services to the region, including interventional and non-interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterisation (IVUS, OCT, FFR), pacemaker/ICD/CRT-D insertions, cardiac investigations including echo (3D), stress echo, TOE, holter monitoring, ambulatory BP, stress testing, event recorders, and heart failure/titration service. Onsite CTCA and cardiac MRI services are also available.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration
  • Experience in cardiology or acute medicine
