Job Description:

Hudson Australia is seeking an experienced Automation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This is a remote working opportunity, and the ideal candidate must be based in Australia (Australian PR or Citizen).
  • The engagement will initially be for up to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:
  • Review and analyse business requirements, system specifications, and user stories to create functional test plans and cases that meet relevant objectives.
  • Design, review, and execute manual and automated tests across multiple projects.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance of work area processes, manage identified risks and issues, and find effective solutions to deliver organisational goals.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Automation testing skills: experience with Playwright to create and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics CRM modules and PowerApps functionalities.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python for writing test scripts and automating tasks.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure seamless integration between different systems.
  • Manual testing skills: proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases, performing regression testing, and documenting test results.
  • Understanding of SQL, Dataverse, and database management to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development workflow.
  • Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for tracking defects and managing test cases.
  • Analytical and logical thinking to design effective and comprehensive test cases, interpret test results, and continuously improve testing processes based on data.
  • Strong business and stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great time management skills and prioritisation to work towards a fixed deadline.
  • Previous experience in a change and business improvement environment.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, inclusive of a 25% casual loading.
