With a strong focus on innovation and growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technologist to join our maintenance crew on a Kwinana based refinery project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and leading teams to achieve exceptional results. They will be responsible for overseeing and implementing improvements, carrying out system upgrades, and developing scopes of work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programmed Logic Controls investigations and repairs
  • Carrying out electrical isolations and preparing permits to work
  • Performing calibration and fault diagnostics of electrical and instrumentation including transmitters, analysers, switches
  • Understanding and analysing P&ID's panel drawings, single line diagrams, and loop sheets
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of materials and equipment to execute works and provide information within the scope of work
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to follow procedures, processes, and compile reports
  • A team player with a strong focus on safety

Required qualifications include:

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • Certificate IV Instrumentation
  • Provide First Aid
  • Current LVR/CPR Certificate
  • Current WA Drivers Licence
  • Construction Card
  • Working & Heights Certificate (within 2 years)
