We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our production team in Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturing facility offering a choice of shift patterns and competitive pay.

Job Description
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site. This includes fault finding, repairs, equipment installations, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
  • Support root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment uptime.
  • Comply with GMP, WHS, and site standards.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A trade qualification in Maintenance Fitting.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Background in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, or FMCG.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Welding and lathe experience (advantageous).
  • Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, safety protocols, and maintenance systems.
