Leading Research Expert

Bolton Clarke is seeking an experienced research leader to head its research initiatives and drive the agenda for advanced health and community care research projects. This role will shape strategies, collaborate with leading organisations, and secure funding to deliver impactful research outcomes that inform policy and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy aligned with emerging trends in health and aged care
  • Oversee high-profile research projects focusing on chronic disease management, geriatric care, and service delivery innovation
  • Lead and mentor a team of researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Influence policy and practice through research dissemination and collaboration with government and industry stakeholders

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have:

  • Expertise in managing interdisciplinary teams and delivering impactful research outcomes
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence strategic decision-making
  • PhD in a relevant discipline with proven experience in clinical or health services research (desirable)
  • A track record of securing research funding and managing large-scale projects
  • Knowledge of research governance, ethics, and aged care regulations
