About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will join our dedicated team at Waratah BreastScreen, delivering vital services every Saturday.
Performing screening mammography is a key responsibility of this role, enabling women in the community to access crucial health services.
This part-time opportunity offers a great chance to contribute to breast cancer detection and women's health on Saturdays.
We welcome applications from qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Radiographers, as well as Mammography Practitioners.
The selected candidate will receive comprehensive support, including an orientation program, guidance from the Designated Radiographer, and access to in-house training delivered by experienced Tutors.
Opportunities for professional development are encouraged and supported, including pursuing additional qualifications such as a Certificate in Mammographic Practice.

As a female Radiographer or Mammography Practitioner, you will bring enthusiasm and dedication to supporting the BreastScreen program and the women of the Hunter New England region.
Key Requirements- Female applicants are required – exemption claimed under section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act.
- Relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent/Graduate Diploma of Mammography/Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or willingness to complete.
- Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer (General or Mammography registration) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia where required.
- Current EPA IA 14M/IA 14 radiation licence.
- NSW Drivers Licence.
- Availability to work on mobile screening vans for up to 6 days at a time.
