Electrical Estimator Opportunity
\We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to lead and support bids from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants to secure competitive pricing and value. Additionally, they will explore and propose creative value engineering opportunities to enhance bid competitiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting bids from concept through to completion
- Managing relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Exploring and proposing creative value engineering opportunities
- Mentoring junior team members
- Assisting in developing tender strategies and managing all tender deliverables
Requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in electrical estimating, preferably in an EPC or large-scale electrical engineering environment
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Pronamics Expert or similar platforms
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze contractual documents, specifications, and technical drawings
