About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating resident care plans that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate resident care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Take the lead in providing clinical services, utilizing sharp clinical assessment skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Become a fundamental part of each resident's life, getting to know them and their preferences.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring that the care provided meets residents' individual goals, liaising with medical and allied health professionals, and residents' family members.
  • Supervise and support Personal Care Workers, promoting a holistic approach to care.
  • Lead the team using critical decision-making skills, prioritizing the quality of life of our residents.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care with relevant nursing experience in the wider health sector.
  • Adaptability, empathy, resourcefulness, excellent time management, and alignment with Uniting's everyday values: compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
  • Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
  • Nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
