The program is designed to provide early-career nurses with opportunities to grow and succeed in their careers by working in various clinical areas and consolidating their knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the scope of an endorsed enrolled nurse under the direct/indirect supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Utilise best practice clinical standards as a framework to deliver optimal patient care.
- Deliver care and administer medication within the role boundaries and legal limitations of enrolled nurse practice.
- Follow established service quality standards, Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures related to the work being undertaken.
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Completion of an approved NMBA course in administration and monitoring of medicines and intravenous therapy.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to coordinate client care resulting in positive clinical outcomes.
