Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical care and support to our patients, working closely with our medical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care and support to patients, including triage, immunisations, and wound management.
- Assist doctors with patient care and clinical procedures, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Conduct preventative/screening procedures, assist with patient education, and community health promotion activities.
- Ensure sterilisation, maintenance, and tracking of clinical equipment, and maintain stocks of clinical supplies.
- Maintain awareness of current and new legislation, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Appropriate tertiary qualification/s and registration/s, with a minimum of one year's nursing experience, preferably in a aged care or Hospital-based role.
- Experience in similar roles as practice nurse or Aged care-based nursing, with a background or training in emergency nursing or occupational health nursing highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest and commitment to community-based nursing, including patient education, health promotion, and lowering patient risk outcomes.
- Knowledge of current immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, infection control, CPR, and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment, and drugs.
