Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing and governing key systems used within the organization.

You will act as the central point of contact, ensuring system usage aligns with organizational policies, is secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Governance: Act as primary liaison between local operations and IT to define responsibilities, manage escalations, and align on governance practices.
  • ERP Management: Manage ERP-project, consulting with all users of the system, reporting to the project Steering Committee, identifying assessment criteria, and acting as main point of contact with Global ERP team.
  • Vendor Relationships: Oversee and coordinate vendor relationships in line with global policies, ensuring service levels and compliance requirements are met.
  • Product Ownership: Product Owner for major business systems.
  • System Development: Lead development and documentation of system governance frameworks, including workflows, access controls, data ownership, and change management processes.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure system data integrity and compliance with internal and external security policies and standards.
  • System Administration: Manage and support System Administrators responsible for hands-on system administration and user support.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of systems, license terms, usage, and associated risks or renewals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teams using the systems to ensure systems support business needs and are embedded effectively within team processes.
  • Data Classification: Classify key data sets and assign ownership for stewardship, integrity monitoring, and compliance tracking.
  • Incident Reviews: Coordinate system-related incident reviews, ensuring issues are documented, root causes identified, and communication to relevant stakeholders is clear and timely.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on performance of systems to share with stakeholders.
  • Escalation Processes: Develop and maintain clear escalation processes for system-related issues, and ensure teams understand and consistently follow these protocols.
  • System Maintenance: Schedule regular system maintenance and updates in alignment with vendors and IT, ensuring that any planned downtime is communicated clearly to all affected stakeholders with minimal disruption to operations.
