About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Recruit Shop Pty Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of clients' financial records while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor junior accountants and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Ensure service excellence and adherence to maintain high standards across the team
  • Prepare and review income tax returns to meet statutory requirements for your clients
  • Coordinate taxation compliance, including year-end income tax, FBT reporting, and CGT
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention

About You

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, along with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field. You will possess a genuine passion for changing lives through financial expertise, a great sense of humour, and the ability to work well within a team. You will also have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage workflow effectively, a dedication to client service, taking ownership and accountability for your tasks, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build robust relationships internally and externally.
