Job Title: Motorway & Tunnel Operations Leader

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and experience working in a control centre environment. They will possess demonstrated knowledge and understanding of traffic management, smart motorways, and road network operations.

This role involves leading a team of Motorway and Tunnel Operations Controllers to achieve performance objectives and improve customer outcomes. The leader will ensure effective incident and congestion management responses are implemented by the Motorways Management System (MMS) and other traffic management systems.

The position requires collaboration with the team to create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers. This includes finding complex technological solutions, creating workflows, and managing resources effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Motorway and Tunnel Operations Controllers
  • Implementing incident and congestion management responses
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve performance objectives

This is a temporary full-time position based at an office location, Monday to Friday. The role may require occasional work outside regular business hours.
