About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic transdisciplinary team at Vision Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group OT training/intervention programs to clients of all ages.
  • Deliver and evaluate clients through various interactive and digital assessments.
  • Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to enhance their quality of life.
  • Provide/advise on low-vision techniques and strategies to improve occupational performance and quality of life.
About You

To be successful in this role, you must hold a nationally recognised Qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also have:

  • Knowledge and skills in working with children, adults, and older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
