Health and Safety Coordinator

RMIT University is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join our College of Vocational Education team. As a key member of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of OHS legislation and regulations, with experience in a multi-site environment. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of HSW, including services, engagement, communications, planning, and operations. Your expertise will help our OH&S and HSW committees achieve their goals, creating a safe and positive learning and teaching environment.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead our HSW team and deliver top-notch services that meet all relevant legislation. You will have:
- A strong knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations
- Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in providing high-level support and stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated conceptual, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to lead projects and meet deadlines
