We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Adult/Mental Health Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will provide holistic care in a safe environment, giving person-centered care, whilst encouraging residents' independence and choices over the care they receive and their daily routines.
The role involves being the nurse in charge when on shift, ensuring through effective communication and leadership that the team provides optimal care.
- Carrying out medication rounds using electronic systems, managing stock levels, and conducting CD checks.
- Escalating any medication changes or concerns to pharmacy teams or management teams.
- Providing wound care and management, venepuncture, stoma care, end-of-life care, and IV medications.
Daily documentation of actions and communications on our e-plan, managing and updating care plans for residents assigned to the successful candidate.
To be aware of each service user's needs and knowing when to communicate with families, outside agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best outcomes for residents.
Mandatory training is required to remain up-to-date, attending training sessions as needed for the role, and continuing to develop skills.
Key Responsibilities:
