Business Development Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team in helping Australian businesses thrive.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving net-new business opportunities across small to mid-market clients, selling a broad range of solutions including managed IT services, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity platforms. They will also collaborate with technical consultants to tailor solutions that meet client needs, manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal and close, and build strong, long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a BDM or Account Executive role within the IT services or technology space
  • Experience working with vendors such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco, HPE, or Palo Alto
  • Knowledge of managed services, IT infrastructure (servers, cloud, endpoints), and networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi)
  • Understanding of network security solutions (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, SASE, Zero Trust)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
