Role Overview

This role is an integral part of the emergency management sector, responsible for providing specialist support to volunteer units and their management teams.

The Volunteer Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring unit operational readiness through coordination of various functions including administration, compliance, grant applications and logistics.

  • Assist volunteer units during scheduled training, meetings and other activities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A relevant experience in a similar role or industry would be highly regarded.
