Senior Projects Engineer Job Description

Are you an experienced senior projects engineer or projects engineer with a background in infrastructure utilities looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work on large-scale infrastructure and utilities projects for one of Australia's leading contractors?

We are currently seeking an experienced senior projects engineer or projects engineer with a key background in infrastructure utilities. As a senior projects engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that project engineering completion is on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project engineering completion is on time and within budget.
  • Manage on-site engineering functions through subordinates.
  • Obtain relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications.
  • Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material.
  • Coordinate the activities of an engineering team and programme work loads.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years project engineering experience.
  • Engineering degree - Utilities background.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Two recent references.
  • Large infrastructure projects experience.
  • Strong communication skills & time management.
