Support Care Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to provide consistent care and assistance to a participant across all 7 days of the week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, including cleaning, social participation, implementing Behaviour Support Plan interventions, and supporting physiotherapy exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily activities such as cleaning, social participation, and implementing Behaviour Support Plan interventions
  • Support physiotherapy exercises and participate in making and attending appointments
  • Follow directions and complete all required tasks
  • Commitment to completing a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before each shift and only attending with a negative result
  • Strict adherence to infection control protocols

Required Qualifications and Checks:

Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards/completed) or higher healthcare qualification; CPR and First Aid certification; Police Check; Valid Driver's Licence and car; NDIS Worker Screening Check; Working With Children Check (WWCC); NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate; Medication Management Training; COVID-19 Infection Control Training; Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Job Type: Casual, Immediate Start

Schedule:

8 hour shift; Afternoon shift; Day shift; Monday to Friday; Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable car (required)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (required)
