Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse will support the implementation of culturally responsive strategies for managing Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD). This role involves standardising processes for ARF/RHD management, including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care, and care coordination.

  • Development of evidence-based protocols for ARF/RHD management
  • Staff training and capacity building in ARF/RHD management
  • Prevention and early intervention activities for ARF/RHD
  • Clinical care and care coordination for patients with ARF/RHD
