
Strategic Support Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior executives as a Strategic Support Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective use of resources.
- Coordinate senior executive schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Support the preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, memoranda, and correspondence using MS Office suite and in-house databases.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in computer applications, knowledge of legislation and policy applicable to Local Government and Councils' operations, and experience dealing with confidential matters.
- Collaborate with the team to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, embracing innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to coordinate complex schedules and manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience providing executive support at a senior management level, preferably in local government.
- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, communication, or equivalent; or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy and discretion.
