Job Title: Senior Director Work Health Safety

About the Job:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the development and implementation of work health safety management strategies, frameworks, and activities across Canberra Health Services (CHS). The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure a safe and accountable healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work health safety management systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic advice and oversight on work health safety matters.
  • Coordinate training and support for Health Safety Representatives (HSRs).
  • Manage staff incident reporting and assist with desk support.
Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of work health safety principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
